: Place was clean and well-appointed. Some Kleenex in the bedrooms, or anywhere in the house, would be nice.
: No heat, except for space heaters...one on each floor. Too cold to shower. No one said anything about it. Found out that the house had radiant floor heating that was not working. Only reason we found out was that the repairman showed up 30 minutes before we left. Will ask for a discount on our stay...don't know what to expect. LOTS of stairs and up and down. Lastly, mattresses and pillows were very substandard. Only slept 3 hours the second night, due to an aching back caused by the "hammock" of a king bed on the top floor. At least one of the mattresses on the lower floor was also substandard.

: Great house - much larger than we needed - could easily have fit 6 - 7 adults plus kids. Location is near Glacier Point Road - far enough for peace but close to explore and hike easily. Very clean and comfortable beds. Nice size family room and dining area so that we could all hang out together.
: No shampoo and no spices / cooking essentials other than salt, pepper, and coffee. Groceries are a long drive (45 minutes) and we hadn't brought oil / butter so sauteed in water instead. Many thermostats but they didn't work (we saw no vents so not sure what these were for?) but there were space heaters and fans. Fine with the weather we had but not sure if this would be enough in more extreme temperatures.

: Fantastic location and a super house. It was comfortable and well equipped. We had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and having a short drive to the valley made a huge difference.
: We had trouble with the heating- it came on in the middle of the night and it was set at 90. So we were very uncomfortable during the night. In the morning we turned the thermostats to off. So we thought it was fixed. When we got back from a day out in the valley it had come back on again during the day and the house was really hot again. So it would be good to have some instructions available for the heating system. We couldnt understand why it would be set at that temperature when it was so hot outside. The only other improvement would be better bed linens.
