  : Everything! The room was not cleaned prior to our check-in. There were toe nail and finger nail clippings all over the floor. There were small scraps of paper and dirt on the floor. There were dirty water stains around the sink. The towels were all stained. There was 1/2 roll of toilet paper in the entire room. Only the dead bolt lock worked, the other lock (chain) on the door and the lock on the sliding glass door to outside did not work. The next morning I heard the cleaning person in the hall. I asked her to come in and look at our room and explained to her the condition of the room when we checked-in. She seemed in disbelief and told me that today is her first day, but apologized anyway. I went and talked to the "manager" at the front desk. He was not interested in anything I was telling him. He said he would put us in another room the next 2 nights. I asked him for a refund for the first night as the room was not ready and it was horrible. He said he could not give a refund. I asked to speak to the manager. He said he was the manager. So I asked to speak to his supervisor or the owner. He said the owner "was out of country". The so called continetal breakfast was a joke. there were 2 bannanas that were turning black on a plate. There was 1 slice of taost on an uncovered plate and there was NO coffee. The "manager" quickly made about 4 cups of coffee. He did not even make a full pot of coffee! The room we had the next 2 nights was a small improvement (how could it not be?!). I will never stay at The Red Carpet Inn again, nor do I recommend it to anyone. The place is a dump! The "Manager" has no concern about the condition of this place or customer service.

  : There was nothing we liked about this property. We had to stay here because vacancy was very limited at the time we booked.
  : Room was very dated. Room lights were all unplugged when we arrived. It was hard to find the outlets in the dark. There was mold on the bed skirt of one of the queen beds. My wife would not sleep in it. Bathroom was not clean and we barely thought taking a shower was a good idea. Sliding glass door was unlocked when we arrived. There was also no way to secure the sliding door at night. I removed to clothes pole in the closet to secure the door at night. Property needed a lot of maintenance. Visually run down. We would have stayed somewhere else after seeing the room but there were no other rooms available in the area and we were tired of driving. People partied next door and kept coming out to smoke and rattled a butt can when they were done. We also used our own blanket's and would not walk on the floor with out something on our feet. It was that bad. would not encourage anyone to stay at this property. Rating: -10

  : It was a great price. We just needed somewhere to sleep for a night, and it did that. The fellow at the front desk was nice.
  : We had a dog and we're put in a smoking room. It messed up my lungs and made me all congested the next two days.
