  : I liked how exceptionally personable the staff was, the decor, and that there were so many nooks and crannies to hang out.
  : I didnt see anywhere on the site that all rooms were on the second floor accessible only by a long, steep fight of stairs. Im not saying there werent any, just that that information was not obvious. My husband has neuropathy in his legs so climbing those flights and going back down over the course of a three day stay was a bit rough.

  : What a gem of a hotel! I was so thrilled to be able to stay here because it is on Rt 66 which lent some nostalgia from past travelers who have been stopping here for over a hundred years! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. It is right in the middle of restaurants, shopping, etc. Street parking only but had space, no problem and the restaurant next door serves delicious Italian food with a choice of patios to dine. Loved it and will stop again. Another bonus is that it is about an hour drive to the Grand Canyon Park Entrance so I could sleep in and still be early enough to miss the long entrance lines!
  : The only draw is a shared bathroom which was clean but small. I actually didn't really have to share it with anyone that I was aware of. This is the only reason I gave it 9 stars. The street outside was busy but quieted down immediately after 9 so that wasn't an issue.

  : It was clean, centrally located and the couple who run it are very nice
  : Significantly underestimated some of the reviews talking about noise. You can literally hear everything going on outside your room and in the rooms next to you. From voices to zippers to blow dryers to cables dragging on the floor. I wouldnt think twice about staying here again if it wasnt for that.
