The Whitmore Inn

  : First - didnt realize it was a bed and breakfast. Couldnt get into the Inn. Once we got in we realized that there was no TV in the room. The room was very warm and there was no way to cool it down. Had to put luggage in the window to keep it open. Could not utilize the common space due to a house cat in the Inn. I am highly allergic to cats. I didnt realize we would be required to share a bathroom - had to use it and found the cat sitting in the hallway. We drove all day and then to have this horrible experience- I wanted to cry. Unfortunately we had prepaid 50% of the room so we couldnt check out- any motel would have been cheaper, more private and I wouldnt have had to worry about a house cat or suffer an allergic reaction to the cat!
  : Everything!! House heat was on - no way to cool down the room. Would have never selected the Inn if I had known a house cat had freedom to roam the whole house - couldnt unpack - didnt want any cat dander on my clothes. Cat hair in the air can cause a very severe allergic reaction requiring medical intervention. Left as quickly as we could. What a waste of time and money - really missed not having a TV in the room.
