  : i understand it’s named the conductors cottage but the trains were terrible. they did try to help minimize it with sound machines and ear plugs which was very kind

  : This place is instantly relaxing. We Loved the view and location. Beds are comfortable I almost forgot what the night sky is supposed to look like until I went outside after dark. The house is clean and comfortable . They provide plenty of dishes/ utensils if you plan on cooking. I am looking forward to staying there again. I hope to book this place at least a few times a year. Did I mention the amazing view?
  : I thought check in was a little late at 4pm and check out was a little early at 10 am. Definitely not the property manager’s fault. I wanted to eat/ enjoy my wine on the deck but the wasps wouldn’t allow it. It’s fine if you don’t have food or anything. I realize it’s just nature but thought people would appreciate the heads up. ( I’d rather deal with wasps than have someone spray pesticides.) There were some neighbors that stared at us for a while as we were unloading the car…… creeps

  : All was great with the exception of train horns every 30 or so minutes. Highly recommend this home but bring ear plugs for sleeping. :-) Great for train buff!!

  : Such a nice cabin with a cozy feeling and many wonderful amenities!
  : The train passing by up to 10 times or more daily was not mentioned in the advertising and would’ve been a major factor in my decision. Kept me awake two nights! Wifi was not very good.

  : On the Booking.com site the train tracks are not mentioned. We heard the train all night long. The bed upstairs is hard as a rock and faces the train tracks. The crossing is right there so you hear the whistle all night long. Neither bed felt like a queen. I think they are double beds. We found M&M's under several pieces of furniture and there is still one under the chair in the living room by the window. I would rather be refunded for having such a bad experience. I was in pain all weekend from the bed and staying awake from the trains.

  : The view and house were beautiful. It's so big and spacious and only allows for 4 adults. You could easily have two families with kids on air mattresses comfortably.
  : You are right on the road and railroad tracks. There happens to be a crossing so the train horn is pretty often and obnoxious. The hot water was gone pretty quickly for 4 adults needing showers in the morning.

  : House rules were not shared until arrival, pillows too soft. We're not told it was next to a busy train crossing where the Engineers blew their horns every 30 minutes all night long.
