The Stowehof Hotel

The Stowehof Hotel is located three miles from Mt. Mansfield, which offers skiing and snowboarding. It is surrounded by 26 acres of panoramas of the surrounding mountains. It offers an indoor and outdoor pool, two fireplaces, and rooms that are individually furnished. A common living room with floor-to-ceiling windows affords panoramic views of the region.

The Stowehof Hotel's guests can unwind in the sauna or read a book in the library. There is a 24-hour front desk and daily housekeeping. Guests can play cards in one of the gaming nooks, shoot pool with pals, or curl up with a book in front of one of the huge fireplaces. At the fire pit, lounge and cook marshmallows. In the summer, you can play tennis, stroll through the rolling meadows, or simply rest by the pool.

Daily breakfast is served in the mountain-view Mansfield Room, and in the evenings, the Fritz Bar serves a casual Vermont-Bavarian menu with locally produced foods, beers, and spirits. Downtown Stowe, a 5-minute drive from the hotel, features a range of unique shops. 2.4 miles away is Stowe Country Club.
