: The place didnt look at all like the pictures on booking.com. The place was dark and run down. It smelled of food upon my arrival. I have stayed at 3 locations in Steamboat and this is by far the worst. When contacted by the rental company post arrival they asked if I was happy and I told them I was not. They never got back to me. Why reach out in the first place?

: Location was okay. It's ground level and its porch and sliding door open directly to the parking area so loading and unloading, coming in from skiing and out was very easy and nice (no stairs). We normally stay on the opposite side of the ski base and do find we like the other side more. This condo is billed as being ski in ski out but its really not... to ski in it requires a long trail with a little pushing and you have to take what feels like a mile of cat tracks in order to hit the exit point....ski out is similar, other wise you are taking a shuttle from the base.
: WARNING! - Vacasa's listing on Booking.com is INCORRECT! When you search Storm Meadows Club A you will only get one listing. Club "A" is the building... there are three: A, B & C. Again, searching Storm Meadows on Booking.com (12/2021) a listing comes up that is wonderful. Tons of beautiful photos of a ONE bedroom unit, with a blue couch, that has an additional bunkbed adjacent to the living area in nitch... but not what I'd call an additional "formal bedroom" It's even the photo displayed while I write this review. When you get to select and book this property you will be given only ONE choice so you assume you are getting the unit in the listing. YOU ARE NOT. The photos are NOT, I repeat NOT the condo you get. What you end up getting is a true one bedroom unit with NO Blue couch and NO bunk beds. The unit you get has a hodgepodge of furniture and decor. The couch is anything but sheik and while it is a sofa bed the sofa bed mattress is 'covered' is stains... most likely urine and other bodily fluids, its a very old school sofa bed, meaning metal bars in your back if you choose to sleep on it. We resorted to pulling the mattress off the sofa bed frame and put it on the floor. The bathroom is clean but extremely dated. Vanity and toilet have been there since the place was built...I'm guessing 50+ years. The kitchen has recently been redone and is actually very nice... although we found many items covered in food and not clean. Oh, no windex or multi surface cleaner provided... If you like to wipe down counters and stove tops after you cook good luck - hard to do without cleaning supplies. No dust pan either. The bedroom: The king mattress is old and springy and soft... it needs to be replaced and if you have back problems or are a side/stomach sleeper its not going to be comfortable. Also the comforter has obviously not been washed in god knows how long. Its also has stains on it.
