TradeWinds' recently refurbished RumFish Beach Resort offers beachfront rooms just 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport. There are two outdoor pools, one of which is reserved for adults only, a hot tub, and an on-site restaurant with a 33,500-gallon aquarium where guests can snorkel alongside the fish. Each room includes a flat-screen cable television, a microwave, and a small refrigerator. Certain suites feature a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Each Gulf Front Suite features a balcony with views of the Gulf of Mexico.
All guests get access to the Touch Tank Experience, a fitness facility, and a surf simulation ride. The adjoining sister resort TradeWinds Island Grand features a spa and tennis court. Guests are welcome to make use of TradeWinds Island Grand's amenities. The SandBox beach lounge features live entertainment, beer discounts, VIP cabanas, and nightly s'mores around the campfire. RumFish Grill serves lunch and dinner daily and features live entertainment at night.
Additionally, it contains an indoor and outdoor bar and a 33,500-gallon aquarium. TradeWinds RumFish Beach Resort is located 11 miles from the Dali Museum and 7 miles from Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. The city hub of Saint Pete Beach is less than a mile away.

RumFish Beach Resort by TradeWinds is joining the cashless movement! With recent cleanliness efforts furthering the steady decline of cash transactions, and newly optimized payment technology, there's one less worry.
Our property is proud to announce a new cashless business model effective July 6, 2022. In addition, there will be new self-check-out terminals allowing more speedy in-house transactions. Additional enhancements we are working on include: self-pay kiosks, mobile ordering, and RFID wristbands which will allow our guests to simply shop, scan, and go!
We embrace these new technological advances as a step to provide a more efficient, safe, and convenient experience - leaving you with more time to Just Let Go!
While cash will no longer be accepted for payment throughout the properties beginning July 6th, we have added “Cash to Card” machines at both Island Grand Beach Resort and RumFish Beach Resort. These machines work as a reverse ATM (without the fees) converting cash to pre-paid debit cards that can be used anywhere. Our employee partners are still able to accept cash for gratuities, but we will not be able to make change onsite.
