  : Never took off my shoes except when I got in my sleeping bag on top of extra linens!!! Decided not to shower here. Never thought I’d bring my sleeping bag into a Marriott but we tried three rooms before resigning ourselves to sleeping in a gross dark musty pit! The first room had a terribly stained pull out mattress, room two had socks on the floor meaning it hadn’t been cleaned, I didn’t look at anything else assuming we’d eventually get a clean room but I think room three was worse!!! Major stench, white streaks all over couch, cobwebs in corners, brown dried drops and hair on bathroom floor, clipped nails on the carpet, spider legs, and pieces of rice and crumbs on the desk. They were out of rooms by then! They even sold the sock room! It was very late and we’d driven ten hours with 8 more to go the next day. I flipped the cushions to the non upholstered side, asked for extra linens, and put our camping gear on top which I’ll get to wash at our next hotel before our final destination camping! I told them we’d decided to deal but the room stunk and showed her one of my pics and the receptionist kindly comped the room. I am very thankful for that as it was completely miserable!!! The next day I made tea that I make every day with their hot water and when it steeped it was sour!!! They need to take a tip from the next hotel we stopped at (Country inn and Suites Green Bay wi, same price better location and clean!!!!) They have a QR code in the room saying who prepared the room so you can review it. It is so clean I felt I could bathe there! The pool is fresh. There’s lemon water in the lobby. And the room actually sleeps 6 comfortably.
  : I don’t know if Marriott can reclaim its good name… Accountability in cleaning staff is needed for a start. Aside from all that they also need a better sleeping situation to say the suite sleeps 5! The trundle couch has a thin pull out mattress low to the ground. No one wants to be on the floor even in a clean hotel! Then sleeping on a couch isn’t exactly a bed! Three teens in a king bed, my husband on the couch, and me on a flimsy mattress on the low trundle. And they only give you linens for the mattress. I couldn’t wait to be sleeping outside over that!!!

  : Need more electrical outlets by the beds. A second waffle maker would be good.
