Located on the oceanfront property of Beach Access 4, the sculpture garden features numerous pieces from local and international artists. This eclectic outdoor gallery is an ideal spot to spend some quality time with nature and admire beautiful creations of artistry.
The one-acre park showcases a wide range of sculptures crafted in different mediums including metal, wood, stone, glass, clay, and found objects. Among the many works on display are a full-size elephant carved out of driftwood by artist Greg Clairmont; whimsical figures created by Jody Miller; and abstract pieces made from recycled materials by Brenda Bradford. Visitors can also find unique pieces such as Annette Shioji’s “Gift of Life” which consists of several recycled bottles arranged into the shape of a heart.
The sculpture garden not only provides visitors with an opportunity to appreciate art but also serves as an educational resource for those who wish to learn more about contemporary sculpting techniques. Docent tours are available during certain times throughout the year offering insight on the creative process each artist used when creating their work.
Siesta Key’s Sculpture Garden is open seven days a week from dawn until dusk and admission is free with donations accepted at the entrance gate to support the park’s maintenance and continued development. It is not only a great place for those wanting to explore new forms of art but also provides a tranquil escape where visitors can relax and find inspiration in nature's beauty combined with exceptional works of artistry from around the world.
