Policies

WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge.

Public parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is not possible) and costs USD 23 per day.

Pets are not allowed.

Children of any age are allowed.
Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an available cot.
No extra beds are available.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

HI-Seattle at the American Hotel Hostel has a 14 day maximum stay policy. Exceptions to this policy require management approval.

Please note that groups of 5 or more people are requested to contact the hostel for special pricing. A group deposit of 20% of the total reservation price will be required.

Please note that alcohol, smoking, and weapons of any kind are not allowed on hostel premises. We are registered as a gun-free business in Seattle.

The property does not accept advance payments or third party payments.
