  : The location was great as it was right in Old San Juan and not too far from our cruise terminal (Pan American). It was a short ride with Uber. The staff was very friendly (Veronica) and she gave good advice about places to eat
  : I understand the building is old but it really needs updating. You enter the building from off the street and you immediately enter a very tiny and sad elevator to the second floor where you check in. This area was pleasant but old and dated. There is a seating area with no atmosphere and a small complimentary coffee area. We had the coffee in the morning and it was not good. Our room was on the 4th floor. (Room 406) The only way to describe the room was dark and small. No windows and just big enough for a bed. There was no place to put your luggage or a chair. The carpet did not look clean so we kept on our sandals. The bed was very hard (I slept fine but my husbands back did not) but sheets were clean. Bathroom was fairly modern but there was no hot water in the shower. I let the water run for a good 10 min and we got the temp to at least cool so we could at least take a quick shower and just wash the important parts. There was hot water in bathroom sink. A strange thing when you use the bathroom ….there is a sign in the room that you cannot put paper in the toilet! So they provided a plastic lined waste paper basket next to the toilet to discard toilet paper.

  : the air conditioning is centralized so you can't turn it off but they helped me to lower it a little bit
