  : The proximity to the beach was great! I liked that you could hear the beach from the balcony. I liked that there were a couple of restaurants across the street within walking distance.
  : We were not notified that we needed to provide additional trash bags and toilet paper. We did not know we needed to bring our own dish soap and coffee filters because there was no filterless option and no cleaning supplies whatsoever. The beds in our room were uncomfortable. The light fixture over the master bath did not work, we tried putting in a working bulb. They use lamps for the bedroom lighting taking up several outlets not leaving enough for all our devices to be in the room. The furniture and dishes are dated/mismatched and bought from the local thrift store- that's fine, but the dishwasher would leave some of the dishes, mainly the glasses, dirtier than they went in. Because we booked from Booking, we did not receive the email with the instructions for how to access our room key. If we had arrived after hours, I don't know what we would have done. The building directly across from ours was undergoing major reconstruction from 8 am every weekday morning until 5 or 6 pm. They decided to pain the balcony while we were staying there and we could not use the balcony for 24 hours. They also painted the walkways, WITHOUT any prior notice. They notified us of the balcony was being painted but failed to mention the walkway was being painted that same day. We went to leave our room and there was yellow construction tape on our door and half of the walkway painted, unable to be used. The following day we walked through an area of wet paint almost slipping and falling. They did not have the area roped off or anything. The walkways are constantly wet from the rain and very slick, my husband fell and hurt himself. They should consider textured paint for the walkways for safety.
