  : We liked that it was outside of town and quiet. The kitchen was very nice with the exception of having to put the oven door handle back on upon our arrival. It had an open floor plan downstairs so great for family interaction. Older out buildings and such kind fun to check out.
  : Hot tub did not work. One of the selling points for us. The fireplace did not work. It was very windy and snowing the first day and it did make the house chilly so there was that. Sauna is an outbuilding with an old wood burning drum. Hauled water out to it for about 30 min. Could not get the fire to draft. Felt like the damper handle was stripped or burned through. So 3 of the 5 reasons we chose the place were unavailable. I am a handy guy so I tend to try and figure out why stuff doesnt work. So spent quite a bit of time trying to fix things. My wife got a little upset because I was working on other people stuff. So in that aspect it felt like home. The property manager said he would credit one day because of the fireplace and fixing the oven handle. That's why I waited so long to review because he has not done that. I figure over a week was enough time. He has not answered the phone since he said he would credit one day. There was quite a bit of dog hair in the carpet so after the kids would play on the floor they were covered. We cleaned the place really well left some dish soap. Clorox wiped the door handles and such. We feel we were pretty good renters. Oh by the way. The handle on the grill is full of water, it must have been frozen and after it heated up when I opened it to check my burgers it dumped dirty handle water on the food. Bogart's is a nice place to eat.
