Pine Mountain State Resort Park

  : The atmosphere of the park and the beauty of the mountains. We ate at the park's restaurant. The food was good, and waitresses were helpful and quick to refill drinks and take care of our needs.
  : No refrigerator and no housekeeping. It would have been nice for the trash to have been taken out, toilet paper replaced and fresh hand towels.

  : The cabin was rustic like a "Little House on the Prairie" home, ( which my wife loved) but with all the modern amenities as well. My wife made the mistake of taking an early morning hike on one of the trails alone, and at the end of the trail when she came out on a road, she didn't know where she was and couldn't find her way back, but the park rangers found her and brought her back to the cabin.
  : We rented a cabin, my wife went to the lodge to grab breakfast for the family and a staff member tried to tell her she couldn't take multiple plates, only until she reminded him we were paying a pretty high rate for a cabin and she was bringing the family back breakfast did he stop talking, even though people staying in the hotel rooms were doin the same thing. Other guests came to her defense and wanted to know why he singled her out when others were bringing multiple plates back to their rooms for their families. Also the trails in the woods weren't marked clearly enough to let people know where they were once they came to the end of the trail.

  : I liked the cottages itself and how much space it had.
  : The floors were dirty so we had to keep our socks on and none of the doors including bathrooms would shut.
