This three-bedroom cottage sits on eight private acres within the Moshannon State Forest, where guests can cross-country ski or hike. The cottage is equipped with a full kitchen and a screened-in porch. The dining room in this post-and-beam Cedarwood Lodge cottage seats ten people. On their first night, guests are treated to homemade bread and muffins or coffee cake.
Additionally, there is a picnic table and a gas grill on the property. For guests' convenience, the cottage includes a television with DVD/VCR. The Cedarwood Lodge's majority of rooms feature knotty pine walls and all rooms feature hardwood floors. Parker Dam State Park is a five-minute drive and S B Elliott State Park is a three-minute drive from the cottage.
A 20-minute drive will take you to the Pennsylvania Elk Herd viewing area and visitor centre. .
