Bing's Landing is a beautiful and unique park located in Palm Coast, Florida. This park offers visitors an unparalleled experience of nature and recreation. It is home to some of the most pristine beaches along the East Coast. From swimming, fishing, and kayaking on the Indian River Lagoon that runs through it- to biking, hiking, and picnicking on its many trails- Bing's Landing offers something for everyone!
The park has a rich history as well. It was named after John B. Stetson who founded what would later become known as the world’s first “Stetson Hat Company” in 1865. The company flourished right up until 2019 when production stopped due to financial issues. The park was then dedicated to his memory in 1922 by Flagler County Commissioners who voted unanimously in favor of naming it “Bing’s Landing” in honor of Stetson.
Visitors can also explore the fascinating wildlife that inhabits this special place. Some popular species that can be found here include loggerhead sea turtles, manatees, bald eagles, roseate spoonbills and more! Visitors may even spot a few alligators or West Indian manatees sunning themselves on the banks of the lagoon or gliding through its waters.
In addition to its natural beauty and abundant wildlife, Bing's Landing also features several recreational amenities including volleyball courts, picnic areas with grills, playgrounds for children and much more! There are even free bike rentals available seven days a week which allows visitors to explore all that Bing's Landing has to offer at their own pace while enjoying stunning views along the way.
