  : Spacious room and large bed. Friendly staff and check in and out was quick and easy process.
  : The bathroom was a little bit on the smaller side and needed some work, the AC unit was a little banged up but we managed to get it to work.

  : Breakfast did not exist. I knew this before I made my reservations. Thus, I prepared for this. I brought a bag of bagels and some granola bars. Plus somthing to drink. This suited me fine. The room, while dated, was clean and well kept. The bed was neat and the blankets and sheets were very clean. The staff were very good to talk to and very helpful in answering any question that I had. I'm not very technically inclined and one staff member came to my room to help me on one occasion. I will gladly stay there again. The rural setting of the Sunrise Motel is very nice. It has a very substantial lawn. It is very quiet and not much traffic. The walk I took was along the local road with very little traffic and very enjoyable for a country walk, which I do not often get a chance to take.
  : To be honest I can not think of any major issues. Oh yes. I thought of one. The door locks have been well used and on the door of this room, were wearing down. For over 25 years I often had to travel for my job. I have stayed at much inferior places. My opinion is that this motel has suffered from the Covid 19 pandemic shut down and will recover. This is a good place to stay. What I did not care for was the comment by a previous guest that the shower was spilling over the side because the curtain did not close properly. This person could easily have moved the nozzle of the shower and pointed it a bit toward the rear of the shower stall. Problem solved. I tried this and it worked. No spilling.
