  : Absolutely loved this cabin! Perfect for a family getaway but being in a private community stunk because you can't get out and walk on your vacation which is a bummer. Bring plenty of toilet paper and towels as they only provide 1 towel per person! The washing machine needs replaced as it always stops. The bunk beds need decent mattresses because they are literally paper! Very uncomfortable!Overall this cabin is great! Made wonderful memories with dear family who came for our son's destination wedding at Howe Farms! Decor was great! Very cozy! Beautiful views!!

  : We had a nice time at this beautiful property. The lake access is unique and the neighborhood quiet and peaceful. The home is spacious and well-decorated.
  : Unfortunately, at this price point we had higher expectations and felt you could get better bang for your money elsewhere. Because we didnt feel our concerns could be easily remedied, we didnt bring them up during our stay. Ants were everywhere and in everything. The stored dishes still had food remnants on them. The upper floor windows were grimy on the outside and had cobwebs. The kitchen supplies were quite random with hardly a matching lid for any pot. The lower floor bedroom consistently smelled, even after airing it out an entire day with the fan running. No Kleenex was provided, and the shampoo and soaps were all very cheap and in very small containers. Although I understand the reasoning, none of the sheets were on the beds upon our arrival, which made for an even later night when we arrived in the evening. Also, after moving one of the mattresses to put the sheets, the headboard fell over onto my head. It was only balancing against the mattress apparently. The dishwasher was not secured in place within the cabinets. It took 17 minutes to boil a small pot of water on the gas range. One side of the yard was cornered off with caution tape because it looked like they were doing some kind of pipe replacement, and on the other side there was an unstable paver that we slipped on because it wasnt secured into the sloped path. One couch has seen better days because when you sat on it your bum is nearly on the floor. Identical lighting fixtures used different bulbs and some outlets did not work. The home felt like a well-used vacation rental. The setting and ambiance really are beautiful, its these small details that make you feel as though you should have spent your hundreds of dollars a night on a property that hadnt been cutting corners.
