  : I didn’t like anything about the property except for the location. The main floor had no power. The place was dirty and run down. The hot tub had not been cleaned. Had to leave the first night because of no electricity
  : It was a dump. And the property management company vacases ( excuse the spelling, not sure if that’s right). They were extremely rude and actually sent us to another property that night that was almost as bad as the first one

  : The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a family of 4, giving everyone their own space. The location was very peaceful and quiet and not too far from the lake. It's not close enough to walk but it's a very short drive. When we arrived the house had been freshly cleaned, there were plenty of towels and the hot tub was clean and in good working order. The bedrooms were adequate and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and in good shape. Overall we had a nice time in the property and enjoyed our stay.
  : With a record breaking heat wave, the lack of air conditioning was a bit of a drawback. Lake Tahoe weather is usually cool enough that AC isn't necessary but temps climbed towards 90 and at that point it became uncomfortable to sleep the house. It does cool off nicely at night but it takes a while for the house to cool off.

  : The location.
  : Hot TubThe hot tub is green!!! We tried to use the hot tub, but the smell was so bad. It smelt like there was mildew in there. It seems that the chemicals are off and it was unusable. We specifically rented this place so we could use the hot tub. Refrigerator Light is not working and the door handle is about to fall off (very loose) and comes off. There is also a hole in the wall right next to the refrigerator. Outside TrashWhen we went to throw out our garbage in the bear bin on the street, there was absolutely no room to put any trash in. We had to leave it in front of the trash bins. The cleaning crew should have at least emptied it enough to ensure that we could put our trash out until the trash came. BedsAll of the pull-out beds were broken and did not pull out.Garbage DisposalWe found 3 bottle caps in the garbage disposal after having to stick our hands down it. It broke down during our stay and we had to use the disposal wrench tool and reset button. Heater Vent The air filter for the heater on the staircase is filthy. Cobwebs There were cobwebs everywhere, especially on the front slider windows and in the upstairs bathroom. BeddingSome of the bedding was not washed before we arrived. My daughter found a hair rubber band laying in the middle of her sheets when she pulled the comforter back. None of the comforters were cleaned and based on the Covid cleaning procedure, this should have been done to ensure Covid is not transmitted. Ice on the StairsOur family fell on the stairs leading up to the house. The ice was not cleaned off before we arrived. She had bruises and blood as a result. Paper TowelsWe were surprised that there weren’t ANY paper towels. Usually most houses have at least 2 when you rent the home.
