  : I realize they are in the process of renovating and the bathroom in my room was very nice, and everything was clean but there was a musty smell as if carpet wasn't allowed to dry fully (could be an issue simply due to being an ocean location). But the 1st room I stayed in had a door that didn't latch unless I shut it VERY FIRMLY. The 2nd room had a door that did not have a secondary lock, and I could see a LOT of outside around the perimeter of the door which did not give me a feeling of security. The elevator was broken although the staff was VERY friendly, I liked them a lot. But the beds are probably the least comfortable I have ever slept on in all my travels, ever. Coupled with the minimum of 2 tiny pillows and one very lightweight blanket on the bed, the bed was so hard I may as well have slept on the floor. I did ask for a 3rd pillow, and could easily have also asked for another blanket but everything felt like they were supplying the least instead of the average. I did enjoy my stay, although I'll try to remember to never visit Ocean Shores on a weekend again - any weekend, but especially a summer weekend. I did think the price of the rooms was high compared to the quality provided.And I would repeat - the staff was very helpful and friendly and I'm sure would have done anything in their power to make my stay better. And the outdoor pool was very nice although I forgot my suit.
  : The beds are awfully uncomfortable and the pillows really are too small. The pillow issue is easily resolved but I'm way too old to sleep on a bed that firm. There has to be a happy medium because I'd be willing to bet more travelers would be happy with a mattress that has at least a little give.

  : Got a bigger room than I paid for which was nice, this is not a fancy place by any means. It's older and shows it, but clean. The pool was in good condition. No issues
  : Don't have super high expectations, there's nothing objectionable- it's just an older motel near the ocean

  : It was nothing like the pictures. There was black mold on the ceiling of the room and ants on the TV stand. It really needs a complete overhaul. The staff was very friendly though
