  : The view was incredible, the sunroom was our favorite room to hang out in and watch the ocean, and beach trails were just a quick walk across the street. Bed was fairly comfy and it was nice to have a full kitchen as well as living room, washer/dryer, etc. the vibe was basic but cute beach cottage.
  : The place was clean but there were cobwebs everywhere. It made me wonder how many spiders Id encounter in my sleep! The listing didnt make it clear that this is a guest cottage on someones property, so it felt a little uncomfortable to find that we were clearly 20ft from someones home, with their cars in our driveway and clear presence every time we set foot outside. It was fine but I wish Id had warning, and I may not have chosen this place because I definitely felt like we were intruding on their space. The address of this listing is for the main house, so when we arrived after dark to find a different address on our cottage was confusing, and the arrival texts didnt address it. I had to dig into my emails to find anything about it. The hosts also left several rather aggressive notes all over the house, like reminders that we were on a septic system, to recycle, do your own dishes, etc. I dont mind notes and I understand that theyd probably had past reasons to leave them, but the tone was condescending and unnecessary. There are ways to say these things that are gracious and even humorous, rather than letting your guests know you assume the worst of them. Also, if youre going to leave a note about doing your own dishes, its helpful to provide a scrub brush so we can actually do them. Oh, and one of the art pieces in the main bedroom was kinda creepyfloating eyes staring at you are not my favorite.

  : I like the wonderful location. I can sit in the yard and have my BBQ while enjoying the sunset. Also, I like the color of the inside house.
  : Honestly, the sofabed is dirty. When I pulled it out, there was at least 4 spiders and countless clouds of dust.

  : The sea at our front door. We enjoyed our stay it was truly beautiful and so private like our own beach. We absolutely loved the view and the ocean was so majestic with the sea spray and the waves. We will not forget it. We had came over from Lake Tahoe and this stay here was more moving then Lake Tahoe.
  : Self service. Different on no one to check in and out. But not a bad thing ether just we never rented a house like this.

  : Nice view. Very roomy. Great sunroom. Such a coastline! Tides restaurant. We read, we wrote, we looked, we read, we wrote, we looked, etc, for 3 days. We ate sometimes. Bring food-cooking is easy.
  : Tricky driveway to find. Roads pitch black at night. Not their fault!

  : The dryer did not work, and the last day no hot water had to take a freezing cold shower
