Disappointing

  : It was my second stay at the ymca. After my first visit I was totally surprised and happy with my accommodation, but now I'm really disappointed. There are not many things I liked about this stay. I could leave my baggage in a spare room on check out day and pick it up later, that gave me the opportunity to stroll around the city once more before heading to the airport. That's all.
  : Here are the things I didn't liked about my stay. As I said, two years before I was totally satisfied with everything, so maybe this time it was bad luck.I had cockroaches in my room. I killed one during my first night, I crushed it on the floor with a shoe. It stayed there 5 days, so it's obvious they didn't clean the floor during my whole stay. They got the trash and made up the bed, that's all.The remote control had no batteries.The heater made strange noises like it would explode every minute, steam came out for pressure relief and the heating pipe made a loud knocking sound. It was hard to get any sleep, especially because it was extremely hot inside my room. There was no possibility to regulate the heat. I told the staff about it, they said it's the same in every room, I should just turn the air conditioning on. So I did that. Loud radiator, loud air co, loud fridge... It was really hard to get some sleep.Last time I was there everyone was super friendly, this time none of the security stuff talked of joked with me, I didn't feel very welcome this time, guess I won't go there anymore.

  : I did get a single room to myself and location is greatAlso accommodated hour early check in
  : Room had bugs in it. Noises coming from radiator all night, no heat in room. I had two nights but i left early after the first night. I couldn’t stay one more moment.

  : The noise probably from the heater in the room is too noisy in the middle of the night. Also the tissue in the bathroom may be refilled everyday.
