  : SugarBeach was easy to find and the keypad worked well to get in. At first glance the property was cute and fairly clean. It was spacious, had clean towels and bedding and near the pool and beach which was great and ended up being the saving grace of our stay due to the horrible customer service we received.
  : As we started using the facility we found outdated bedding, old uncomfortable sofa that was difficult to get out of with a bad back, broken shower door, broken coffee pot top, fridge that froze our produce causing a $35 loss that Vacasa would not compensate us for, DVD players that would not work and caused the loss of our time and $$ in DVD rentals we couldn’t watch after two calls where we were told someone would come fix them and never did. The beach equipment on the back deck was old and rusted. We took some things to the beach and had the umbrella completely break and cave in in the wind and the beach chair collapse in the sand causing me to fall backwards while sitting in it. We disposed of them ourselves. Dealing with the hassle of broken equipment with 2 small children in tow was very frustrating. We tried to callImmediately upon arrival to be switched to a new unit through booking.com but had a terrible time getting through to someone even with multiple calls. I explained this to Vacasa after our check out about our troubles and was initially very pleased with the apology and the kindness and sincerity of the woman who took my first call. However when I called back to follow up on the credit we expected to receive, I was met with a woman who was indifferent and condescending and told me they were not doing anything for us because I had not called Vacasa during our stay and that she nailed us a coupon for 15% off a future stay. I explained to her that I thought I was supposed to be call booking.com and that’s the number I was calling. My husband did also call Vacasa multiple times and he was told that someone was coming out to fix the DVD. No one ever showed up. We planned to explain the rest of the issues but no one ever showed up. The only person who showed up was a guy spraying for bugs but we told him that call was not from our room. I surely hope that this is not how you treat your guests. I expected more.

  : Some things in condo were run down. Ice dispenser did not work, 2 of 3 toilets had broken handles causing water to run, some paint and siding peeling in areas.

  : I liked the amount of room the place had. I like the dishes /utensils provided in the kitchen.
  : The ad said the property was right on the beach . This is deceptive. While the complex is situated right on the beach ,to get to the beach is a bit of a walk out of the complex, down the street and across a bridge
