  : The people in the room above us were up stomping around shaking our room and keeping us all awake till my husband went to the front desk to report the herd of elephants they didn't quiet down until 2am

  : I live in Monticello but on April 19, 2022 there was an accident at my house so my wife & I decided just to go stay at the hotel in town & deal with the situation early morning the next day. We show up and the lady at the front desk was super nice and welcoming, we got a one bed with a jacuzzi and she gave us a discount for our troubles witch we were really pleased & thankful for. We get into the room (room #124) & there’s a red/brown stain on the comforter (where someone would sit) & the toilet wasn’t flushing. We decided not to complain because we got a really good deal and I know some stains don’t come off when you wash them. It’s the next day now we fixed the situation at our house but we were so pleased with our stay we went back to stay another night even though we live in town! We go back and it’s a different lady this time not as welcoming as the first one which is fine we don’t all love our jobs and that’s okay. She asked for my ID and Card so I give it to her and she’s typing on the computer for about 20 sec then she just swipes my card without tell us our total or anything. So I asked her “what was the total?” And she says the total & I tell her if there’s any way we can change that number she says “no” & I said “okay then that’s fine” signed the papers and went to the room(same room 124). Checked the bed and THE SAME STAIN WAS THERE IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT. So we go and tell the front desk & I’m furious because they clearly don’t change their sheets every night and we most likely slept in the same sheets someone else slept in the first night we stayed. She gave us new sheets and a discount. This was NEVER about how she charged us more than the previous night or about how she didn’t even tell us the total and just swiped my card.
