: Great location and facilities in the area.
: Very bad customer service! No flexibility for families and no urgency to fix issues. Family of 3 (6-months pregnant wife and 5-years old daughter) drove in all the way from Atlanta, GA. After almost 7 hours’ drive, we got to the Luau building an hour earlier of the scheduled check-in and they did not allow us to get in even when the apartment was ready for us...no flexibility whatsoever, first strike. That night, we noticed the A/C was not working (77 degrees), it was very warm the entire night. Now, please put in the shoes of a 6-months pregnant woman that already is very warm inside. I called it in the next morning to report the issue. They sent someone to the room while we were out in the beach, but that person could not get in because we were not there (no heads up prior the visit), second strike! That person changed the code on the front door, when we went out to dinner that night and came back to the room, we were locked out of the apartment at 10pm, again with my wife and daughter sitting on the hallway! We called the emergency line and they gave us another code. After we got in, the room temperature...guess what...77 degrees, third strike! This was the second night with the same issue, and it happened every single night! I have multiple text messages complaining about the issue and finally on the third day, someone from building maintenance came in. He was very nice and confirmed that an A/C technician needed to check the unit. Never happened! Third night, 77 degrees! I requested to be compensated for at least a night or two due to all the burden caused to my family and to this day I have not heard from anyone. This is a great area with great facilities, but I must tell you, this was NOT a great experience with this company, so BEWARE!
