: you needed a car to get to the beach and restaurant.. the neighbourhood was a residential built uparea and the apartment was crowded with other condos. they had no outdoor space as stated in the description.the air con units were old and made so much noice that we could not sleep. the bedding and mattress was old and worn looking. the steps leading up to the apartment were rusty and unpainted. the main gate lock was not working. lots of people staying in this converted house with nobody managing it. someone’s dog was barking all night so didn’t get any sleep. we had no car and the host had left no welcome basket ( water, tea , coffee or milk) so we had nothing to eat or drink and nearest shop was a drive away.this was like an air B&B and booking. com should not be advertising this. we had no choice but to leave in the morning and pay for another accommodation.

: Good basic comfort, a/c was great, tv channels and screen was a huge plus, new shower was nice, and the roomy closets were a treat. You can walk to the Design District and Wynwood, a great price for the area. We loved that we could do laundry, and the free parking on the street was a huge plus for us.
: Communication needs to be better. Seems like no one is on site to help, the phone number is Canadian and it goes to a messaging service. So if you have a problem you can only message via Booking and hope they reply. Like the lock on the door: it was low on battery and no one came to change after asking, so we never knew if we'd come back to an unlocked door or what. Kitchen needs some tic: cookware was old and dirty, we had to buy things to use the oven, coffee, salt pepper, etc. Windows in the rooms have hurricane shutters that keep it a little dungeon like. Termites flew around the backyard lights at dusk and got into the apartment a little.

: Host was super friendly and the property looked and smelt clean. Each room had its own ac unit and remote. The couch was comfy with a pullout extension for extra seating or a bed. It gave us plenty of space to lay down and watch TV at night. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and appliances all the appliances worked.
: Area was a little hit or miss. Only a 5 minute drive from wynnwood but not really central to any grocery stores. The unit could use a little extra elbow grease but definitely great value for the price.
