The Linville Gorge Wilderness in Sugar Mountain, North Carolina is an area of breathtaking natural beauty that serves as a popular destination for hikers, campers, and climbers. One of the most popular trails is the Table Rock Loop Trail along with other nearby trails such as Hawksbill Mountain, Shortoff Mountain and Conley Cove Trails. The Table Rock Loop Trail offers a moderate 3-mile trek to Table Rock summit which affords hikers stunning views from its 4,620-foot peak. Climbers will find more than 500 technical routes ranging from 5th class slab climbs to challenging 5th class roof routes making it an ideal spot for those looking for something more challenging than your average hike or campground activity!
