  : Arrived late. Staff was nice at check in.
  : Arrived late and didn't use hot tub after all (fortunately) since upon closer inspection in the morning (when the shower did not work, we thought we'd use the hot tub for a quick wash -- found it was dirty (hair glob, chunks of little granules, not wiped down etc.), shower initially did not produce ANY water. Called front desk, but it was too early and we were in town for a lecture that started so early we would be gone before workmen could try to fix shower. Staff said to pull button out on shower. Impossible since it is a plastic ornamentation that someone half pulled out with their nails (which tells me the issue with intermittent working shower is a known issue and that they have given many guests that gaslighting direction). After 4 tries, we got the shower to spit a bit of water out for a truly miserable shower. Peeling wallpaper, broken hair dryer, old room, chunks and nicks out of furniture, peeling desk top under glass, paint missing from walls. Once we explained that we had taken video, they encouraged us to contact their manager for some sort of accommodation (apparently booking thru booking.com meant we were ineligible for some sort of cash refund but they talked of giving us points -- yeah, not interested in more miserable stays here) but as we told staff, we felt it was better to be able to post an honest review and save others from a miserable stay than get something off the price to keep quiet. Extremely disappointed, especially for the cost, definitely not worth it and didn't meet minimum standards since we couldn't even take a decent shower. SIDE NOTE: traveled with a friend who was supposedly given a refurnished room - she said it was pretty dismal too. Buyer beware, seriously go somewhere nice for that kind of money. P.S. can't figure out how to post video. Will keep trying.

  : Literally nothing.
  : Pool wasn't clean, rooms had food and bed bugs, hotel charged my card several times taking over $---that we had while hours away from home with four kids and didn't seems to care. Acted as if it were our issue after admitting it was their error.
