  : The property is in a wonderful location! It is also an interesting and charming building and property.
  : We did not have hot water at all. Not for the shower or sink. The staff really seems to try and I appreciate the uniqueness of the property. However the reality is there that some maintenance needs to happen.

  : The location was perfect with beautiful landscaping and a very quiet environment; I heard frogs at night for the first time in many years. We found out the Edith Wharton house was literally right next door, and had such beautiful grounds to explore as well. The AC was very strong so we slept well even when it was oppressively hot and humid outside. Beds were of standard comfort. We were pleased that all the attractions we wanted to go to were less than 10 min away.We were delighted by the selections at the free continental breakfast. We had been expecting bare minimum breakfast, but were surprised that was a variety of English muffins, waffles, fresh fruit bowls, pastries, cereals, yogurt, instant oats, 4 kinds of juices, coffee, tea, dairy and non-dairy creamers, and fruit to-go. There was also a toaster and microwave to heat up food. Eating in the beautiful dining room that overlooked the lawn made us feel like billionaires.
  : There were various small bugs in our room flying around and perched on the ceiling, and a millipede that I had found in the bathroom. There were some hairs from past guests in the shower stall and on the floor of the bathroom. We wished there was a chair in our room, but understood the room was small. The shower took a very long time to warm up.

  : Beautiful grounds…loved the lawn chess! Nice and close to Tanglewood, Stockbridge, and local attractions
  : Room was not cleaned and ready at check in time…we had to wait for it to be cleaned! They said they were under staffed. We we got in the room floor was still dirty

  : A great place to stay when in Lenox or going to Tanglewood. The Terrace room accommodations are OK, but the main house is excellent. Breakfast is your typical US buffet.
  : The Terrace rooms need to be aired out.
