  : The room was well kept & clean & whatever renovations were done, it's very pleasant to stay there. Surprised me in fact since have passed this motel for decades without staying there before. You asked about the view--the view is of the swimming pool & Rtes 7 & 20 going by--pleasant enough.
  : The price was bad. Found after I'd booked that rooms were going for much less if one dealt directly with the motel, or so I was told by a friend checking online who was horrified at what I paid ($203/night).

  : Good location -- close to Tanglewood. Most of the staff were very pleasant. Clean sheets and no bedbugs. Bedding was very comfortable, and I slept well. The fridge, microwave, and coffee maker all worked well. Breakfast offerings were generally good but could have been described more completely for planning purposes; it was merely called a "breakfast item". Price was very high for the quality, but given the outrageous prices of other local lodging during the summer season, it was acceptable.
  : The website showed large rooms, spacious with fresh decor. The actual room was very tiny, dark, and grim, and the furniture was worn. My first impression upon opening the door was disappointment. I knew it was a 2-star hotel, but I was still dismayed. The toilet leaked, so I heard trickling water constantly. I also heard water running anytime people in the surrounding units used any water. Inconsiderate guests had showered with the curtain open, so there were many signs of water damage in the bathroom: black mold between the tub and door, warpage and veneer separation throughout the bottom third of the bathroom door, and a loss of grout between the floor tiles and tub. All of the lampshades were stained and battered. The printed TV channel list didn't match the actual channels, so finding news or other programs was hit-or-miss.
