  : Foods at the restaurant lodge was fantastic delicious and the view was beautiful. Server was very nice and friendly.
  : We were there during and around Valentine's Day. Resturant at the lodge for that day were full and can't even order take out foods, that was ridiculous. We have to drive down the mountain to get foods. During February the lodge has no heat and during the night cold air coming through window like crazy because it is a Side Louver Window. I'd texted property manager and requested for potable heater/heated blanket and didn't get any answer back.

  : The location is beautiful and we like it up country. The restaurant is first rate. Staff was friendly and helpful. The market is a plus as well.
  : The major flaw is the bed. I don't know when the decision to purchase a memory foam mattress for the room we stayed in, but it was a big mistake in my view. The opportunity for a cool quiet sleep was made impossible by a cheap foam mattress. This taints the entire experience. For two nights lodging the mattress could be replaced with a high quality commercial queen bed. It is simply a deal killer for any future stay.Also, I had a couple of nit pics. No tissue paper. First hotel ever where I stayed and didn't have a tissue box for its guest. Also, room cleanup was exceptional on a couple of days and never occurred over the weekend. The focus is on the restaurant and the rooms an afterthought, it would seem. Best of luck in the future. I really would come back but it is impossible to sleep on the poor mattress provided. Let me know when you buy a decent bed.

  : We liked the location for the Haleakala Summit. There is also a really cool view at the restaurant.
  : Staff wasn’t very responsive and the limited hours on everything was a bit hard to work around.
