  : 1. Amazing house with perfect lake view. It was spacious and clean. Great location not far from Disney, shops, and outlets.2. Pool was awesome and the kids enjoyed it.3. Beautiful kitchen that was very well appointed! It had everything you needed if you decided to make a gourmet meal for yourself.4. The host, Shawna, was actually very nice when we spoke over the phone (not the impression I got over our initial email communications) . She was fast and very responsive to our needs.
  : 1. There is nowhere on this listing that mentions a mandatory damage insurance (additional $59 on top of security deposit). The host sent me the rental agreement and said they would send arrival information once I sent it back with my ID. Once I did that she said I would get this information only after purchased additional damage insurance. When I questioned this, here is the response I received: “The security deposit is refundable and would not cover much if any damages were made. This is why we require on all of our properties this coverage. If you disagree, we will need to cancel the booking.” So basically you are stuck and there is a strong suggestion that a.) they expect property damage and b.) The damage will be in excess of $300. I have stayed in more properties in the US and abroad than I can count and this was a first for me.2. Carpet needs replacement.3. The alarms on the door are annoying. Understandably they are mandated by state law but if you have a high volume of in and out activity by the pool it is very inconvenient. I would perhaps suggest installing a pool fence instead.4. You have no control over the internal temperature, the thermostat is locked and you have to rely on someone not occupying the premises to adjust the temperature.
