  : I was about to give this a 7 until I rechecked other places at this same price and location and remembered how ugly they are inside. This place is adorable, beachy, and happy. You will definitely feel like you're on a wonderful, relaxing beach vacation. Outdoor people will love the deck, which is even more complete and filled out than in the photos. Even indoors, it gives a nice sense of privacy. Also a great place to put a drying rack on sunny days. The sofa is luxurious and we spent a lot of time there relaxing, playing board games, reading, or watching TV. Of all the beach places we've rented, this one felt the most like the owner tried to think of everything. Example: they had a toaster AND toaster oven. Also, lots and lots of cubbies for storage and plenty of hooks in the bedrooms and bathroom. There was a blow dryer under the sink, etc. The benches on the kitchen table move so they can accommodate people of any size. The lighting in the living area is also AMAZING, with two levels of lights, one on a dimmer switch! Those with back problems should know the firm mattress is one of the twins. It was very comfy to sleep on. The other beds are softer but were OK for the rest of our party. Parents should know the adorable wall mermaid is decorated in crushed beer can lids, if that bothers you. Location is fabulous; just a short walk to the beach.
  : Main reason for almost giving this a 7 was the bathroom. Hated it. The online photos hide it well, but the sink is shaped strangely because there isn't enough room in the bathroom for all that is in there. The shower is about 3' x 3'. We all found it hard to wash our legs. More importantly, the gap between the wall and sink to get to the shower is about 14-16", so every single one of us had to turn sideways to get to the shower. If you are overweight, it definitely pinches you. Also: I think a parent would have a hard time bathing a small kid in that shower. Water WILL get outside the shower curtain no matter how hard you try, so bring your own junk towels to put on the floor, as the rental agency only offered 4 towels for our visit. The house is less than 800 sq ft, so it will feel a little small after awhile. The queen bed is more like a double, but that is typical for rentals. Definitely do not recommend this for any group larger than 2 to 4 people.
