Oldest House & Gardens Key West is situated in the heart of Key West, Florida. It’s a historically rich landmark and a popular tourist attraction. The house was built in 1829 by Haitian immigrant, Francisco de Brugas. It was the first two-story structure to be built in the city and has been home to many prominent citizens over its long history.
Today, visitors to Oldest House & Gardens can explore the grounds that feature a beautiful tropical garden full of lush vegetation such as palms and hibiscus flowers. Inside the home, tourists will find original furniture dating back to the 1800s along with other interesting artifacts related to Key West's history.
