Opaekaa Falls is one of the most popular tourist attractions on the island of Kauai. The falls are located in Kapaa , on the east side of the island.
The falls are about 80 feet tall and are located in a lush, tropical setting. There is a viewing platform at the top of the falls that gives visitors a great view of the falls and the surrounding area.
There is also a hiking trail that leads down to the bottom of the falls. This trail is about 1 mile long and is considered to be moderately difficult. It takes about 45 minutes to hike down to the bottom of the falls and back up to the top.
The Opaekaa Falls are a beautiful sight and are well worth a visit if you are ever on Kauai.
