  : We asked for clean sheets and towels, which for a 2 weeks stay isn't much to ask. But the answer was "This is not a hotel". The stay was even divided in 2 bookings costing us double fee for cleaning, but no service was provided.

  : The IDEA that we would be able to stay for the day and keep items cool before our flight off the island. We selected the rental for A/C there was no A/C or ventilation.
  : Nothing! No A/C but A/C was advertised with A/C on Booking.comAlso not advertised was that it is a construction zone in progress inside.Also not advertised that the rental had no ventilation and is moldy due to poor construction.Also noted that the smoke alarms have been decommissioned and a very big safety item for anyone. No fire extinguisher 1/2 used bar of soap to use if one wanted to shower.Light bulbs missingSomeone’s insulin medicine open and left at the front door.Foot prints left on the ottomanTop of fridge had 1/8 dust and garbage on top.Bottom line… I work in the construction industry and have for 30 years. I can handle dust and debris. This place was filthy. I paid $600 dollars to get away from this place. I couldn’t bring myself to even sit on the couch. I feel the owner needs to finish the construction of their project and hire a professional cleaner. The pictures on booking don’t show the real picture. I have many and am happy to share if necessary. I feel that this was misrepresented. $600 might help finish the paint job.

  : This is great place in situated in residential area up on the hill from downtown Kailua-Kona. We reserved Apartment on the ground floor and it is really huge. Bed is very comfortable. But we liked to spend most of our time on the patio on the big couch.
  : We can’t say that the apartment was not clean. Bedroom and bathroom was perfect. But it doesn't look good that almost all the walls in the suite are half painted. The kitchen is connected to the living room and has not been dusted. In addition, the kitchen is missing cutlery and glasses. There was trash strewn around the patio among the plants. These are not major things but it spoils the overall impression. Yet it would take so little to remove it all.

  : BAIT AND SWITCHWe thought we were renting the 'surfboard' but when we arrived the apt. was not ready. We were taken to another place that was small and filthy. Cockroaches on the floor and in the drawers, no towels, no soap, nothing but scum. I finally asked for a broom. Hair and scum in the bathroom drawers and pee and dirt around the toilet. Look at the pictures attached and you will see for yourself. I am asking for a refund.
