  : The Beautiful Island.
  : When we arrived and received our key, the young lady said that she couldn't direct us to our room and knew nothing about this place mind you we had come through heck to get there. After calling you a couple of times and trying to locate our room on our own and waiting 45 min for a emergency call back finally a young man came and apologized for this frustration. Terrible check in experience Map was dated. Communications need to be considered. I understand that this is personal but we had 5 deaths in our family and needed to get to the water. We needed serenity instead we got a big bush to look at it spoiled our whole visit there.

  : The location was great — we biked 5 minutes to Driftwood Beach almost every night to enjoy the sunset! It's further from the main restaurants, but we enjoyed having the beach to ourselves. The place was simple, but comfortable.
  : Communication was very confusing. There was a contract to sign with the realty company that manages this property that also requested an expensive deposit, none of which is mentioned on Booking.com at all and also wasn't ever charged. There was a long list of items suggested to bring (soap, towels, etc.), but luckily when we arrived it really had everything we needed. Would probably try to stay in the main hotel that this is connected to next time.

  : The unit was spacious and clean; the pool was great. The location and the on-site shop were very convenient.
  : The appliances were outdated considering the nightly rate and mosquitoes were in the unit.

  : Our general stay was nice. We loved the area and how close we were to the beach and that it was not that crowded. We loved exploring Jekyll Island and learning the history.
  : Bathroom light had a bulb that was hanging down; very dangerous. Construction was going on near the pool, causing gas fumes to be let off, very loud and at times choked us up while sitting in pool or lounging out. Found cockroaches twice in our condo as well.

  : Villa 289 was not clean. Urine on the toilet, bed sheets stained and only 2 washcloths provided. Misrepresentation of the beach...we had to drive to a public beach. The pool was dirty...leaves and hairballs.
