  : I had booked this hotel in March 2024. The same day I was supposed to stay there (June 2024), I received a message from the hotel in the morning telling me that the booking had to be cancelled due to "damage at the property". I wrote back to them, asking if they could give me another room. It was unbelievable that even though I tried to call them several times, no one picked up the phone at front desk. I arrived at Houston's airport with no idea of what was going on and no way of contacting them. Not even when I escalated the issue with Booking.com did I receive an answer from the hotel. I ended up having to book another hotel last minute. Until today I haven't heard back from La Quinta, no explanations, no apologies of what happened. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone
