  : The location was easy to find, right off the main road. We were heading home from Rushmore and wanted to stay close to Mammoth site. They provide soap and shampoo which was nice.
  : There was a lot we didn't like.. The rooms were overpriced and small. Walls were scroungy and floors looked stained and dirty. Everything felt old and out of date. There was a blinking clock with the incorrect time. Paint and drywall peeling in shower and room. Beds and pillows were hard. It had a weird smell. The AC was loud. Breakfast was lacking. The owners seemed unfriendly and unhelpful and it was hard to tell apart owners from guests as no uniforms were used. Overall, it’s better than sleeping in your car but definitely needs some updating. We did see signs that said, "Help Wanted" and "Owner retiring" so maybe under new management it will improve. Go elsewhere if possible.

  : Location was great and it delivered with price. We went to Custer State Park, Wind Cave National Park and The Badlands. Very easy driving to each location. It was nice to have a microwave and fridge in the room since we had brought much of our own food. The wifi worked great and the AC was quiet.
  : Breakfast was mostly sweet carbs with the exception of a hard boiled egg that was still in it's shell. There was a sign requesting food not be taken back to the room to keep the rooms clean so peeling the egg without eating some of the shell was tricky. I didn't understand that since the was a microwave and fridge in our room.There was a sewer odor and if we kept the bathroom door tightly closed it seemed to help.The beds were not very comfortable. I think the mattress pad was really poor and every time we turned over it bunched up under us. We had to fix it often during the night. Maybe it had some kind of waterproof material.

  : Very clean and comfortable. Shower was hot and good water pressure. AC worked well. That’s all you can really ask for when traveling across country.
  : Quite expensive for one night, but that was probably because of the motorcycle rally going on.

  : Breakfast was boiled eggs and toast. Coffee was good, no real cream and no tea offered.
  : Old facility. Shower did not operate properly. Bathroom and room door did not close properly.

  : The property looked grown up in weeds and abandoned from the outside. Our room was full of flies and didn’t have the a/c on when we arrived. The town has very few amenities also.

  : Very nice hosts; quiet in back, where they put us. Outdoor seating and table - under a porch, in the parking lot, but still nice to have. Breakfast was good
  : I had hoped the outdoor seating would be in a green area, and that wasn't the case. Still, it worked out all right. A little expensive, but S Dak is that way this time of year. Many eating spots in Hot Springs were shut down, though - apparentlly still recovering from Covid. Evans Plunge and Mammoth Site were open and well-attended though.
