  : The location was great....in the heart of Hermann.
  : The description on booking.com and other sites looks inviting, but the reality is way different. If you are looking to just put your head down for the night and not spend any time here, this may be the place for you. If you look at a hotel room as a place to decompress at the end of the day or just hang out, this is NOT your place. Unfortunately, it's the only hotel type lodging in Hermann (lots of bed n breakfasts). There was no internet even after the Mgr. told me to take my laptop outside because service was spotty. The rooms are dark and dingy. Towels are threadbare. Carpet looks ground-in dirty. Furniture is old. We had paint peeling off the wall over the shower. Water was just a tad over lukewarm for a shower. Beds are very soft..not good for a bad back. Just did not feel clean in this place. The people that operate it are nice enough, but this looks like a cash machine with very little or no investment. Bottom line: if you're staying more than one night, rent a B & B.
