  : Although room appears to have been remodeled, it was not complete. No place to hang clothing. No towel racks or hooks in bathroom. Cleaning staff is very poor. Dirty rag on bathroom door and surfaces were not cleaned well. Floors were not cleaned well either.

  : Immediately room smelled awkward when we entered the room. Towels were rough to dry face and body. Floor was sticky, my shoes made noise as I took steps.

  : There was no breakfast.
  : The bathroom door was warped and moldy and opened just halfway, so only half the toilet was accessible. The heat register in the bathroom had fallen off and had mold (possibly black mold?) covering it. The heat register in the bedroom was crushed and rusty. One of the windows had no screen and the other had holes in it (many mosquitos in this part of the country). Someone had stuffed wads of toilet paper in the air conditioner (which worked poorly), to block the gaping holes between the unit and the exterior wall. The window shade had to be secured by pushing the desk against it to hold it down. The TV didn't work until the manager unplugged it and plugged it into a new outlet, but the remote didn't work and so the TV had to be operated manually. The sheets were new out of the package and not been washed, so they were stiff, scratchy and smelled like plastic (I was able to swap out for washed linens). There was no mirror in the bathroom. This was the worst property I've ever stayed at in the US. I wrapped a cloth around my mouth and nose every time I used the bathroom because of my concerns about the mold as a potential health hazards. I tried to get a different room, but was told none was available. There were no other pet-friendly hotel rooms in Hayward that weekend because of major events. I'm hoping to get a refund.

  : The room was fairly clean and appeared to be recently renovated. The location was good.
  : Horrible smell from air cconditioner. My husband took the grate off the front and saw mold, though management said it wasn't mold; only dirty. He stated it was the only thing they didn't update yet. There were no lamps in the room; only the ceiling lights. No clock, no hair dryer, no cover or bag for the ice bucket and no breakfast. The fan in the bathroom was hanging from the ceiling. The toilet lid was installed incorrectly and would not open all the way. There was no phone in the room so if you needed anything you had to go to the front desk, however there was No one at the front desk. You had to call them if you needed something.The coffee maker in the lobby was dirty; the pool was dirty.The outdoor space was a picnic table surrounded by cigarette butts and beer cans.
