  : For a newly renovated hotel, our bathroom was not pristine- mold in corner of shower; shower leaks all over the bathroom floor. One painted wall poorly finished. Need a backup to work the Starbucks counter when the primary employee leaves the counter.

  : The hotel was recently remodeled and changed to Marriott two months ago.
  : The pricing under Booking,com was indicated at about $584 for two nights, which we accepted although the math didn't compute with the room thought to be $199/night for two nights. Booking.com requested and got our credit card but I failed to print out their tally of the charges, thinking I would get an emailed receipt, but did not. Upon arrival, the hotel wanted to charge $784, saying that was $584 plus a $100/night deposit for two nights. However, at that time they said Valet was $70 for the two nights which was included and which would be refunded if I decided not to use it. But I found the alternative was a garage at $20 or $25 per night some distance away, which meant that valet was the only real option given my wife's recent surgery. That info was not given by Booking.com, which I confirmed had not charged our credit card. We thought the problem was resolved after time spent at check-in where I was told the $584 included the $70 valet charges and the $784 charged included $200 in deposits. Upon checking out, however, I was told the charge would be $654, which was $574 + $70 valet -- and, I then learned that the basis for the $584 was that they were charging $199 for the 1st night & $309 for the 2nd night (Friday). Upon check-in, I had asked for a printout of the details comprising the charges, but they could only do a screen shot and it only showed the $584 total, concealing the charge details. It appears to have been a coordinated rip-off, but I believe there was less ill-intent at the hotel personnel level than poor management policy & systems management for the booking process, possibly due to the recent conversion to Marriott. However, in spite of the extensive lack of pricing clarity, the manager refused to adjust the charges unless I could give a copy of the Booking,com charges. However, neither Booking nor the hotel's check-in process provided that or any detail of the charges.

  : Festive decorations, service was excellent, location was wonderful
  : The scent in the lobby area was overwhelming. Also the desk group wasn't completely on the ball and thus was very slow.
