  : Great Location!
  : I recently (May 2023) stayed in 520A at Waterscape on Okaloosa Island with my Mother over the Mother's day weekend.  It was a gift to my Mom who loves the beach and at 84 was hoping to spend some quality time along the Gulf Coast.  The amount of quality time was definitely lacking inside the unit as several problems were never addressed by Vacasa.  These issues were brought to the attention of Vacasa at the beginning of our 3 day stay and hadn't been addressed when we left.  The main refrigerator located in the in the kitchen wasn't working when we checked in so no ice during our stay.  There was a small "Drink" refrigerator  located in the living area which we had to store all of of food in during the stay and was both tiny and inconvenient to access from the kitchen area.  When I talked with Liz at the front desk she indicated she was aware the ice machine wasn't working but didn't know the entire unit was not functioning.   If she knew the ice machine wasn't working, why not indicate to us that was the case when we checked in?Other issues that were brought to the attention of both Liz and Sally of Vacasa; the TV in the main living area never functioned, there was no hair dryer in the unit and there was no clock of any kind in the bedroom.  Having been a former Vacasa rental unit owner in the past, I know these items are required for units to be deemed rent able .  I never received a call explaining why the above issues were not addressed during our stay or a simple apology.  If you have a reservation or are consider renting 520A at Waterscape, unless these issues have been addressed you may want to look at other options.  I know I will.

  : great view. 2 bathrooms were a plus. same level parking was very convenient.
  : the heated pool was never heated during our entire visit which was my biggest reason for booking here. due to many surgeries and implants ice cold water actually hurts my body. tightening and tensing the areas. extremely bummed I never got to use the pool. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever tried to sleep in. even my husband slept on the couch after the first night waking up in so much pain himself.
