  : House was filthy and we were charged a $411 cleaning fee, which is absurd, since no one is cleaning this house. Evidence: Feet turned black from walking around barefoot, sand and grit in all the showers, blood stained sheets, hair in showers and on bathroom floors from previous guest, twin sized sheets on queen size bed, air filter left out on counter upon arrival, broken chair on the patio, and overall musty smell that stuck to clothes/could still smell house odor on my clothes when I got home. Tried to get reimbursed for cleaning fee by providing pics, as Vacasa requested, and called 4 times, which resulted in them giving us $150 back. They argued that since they had offered to send local cleaners over during our stay, we weren't entitled to the full cleaning fee back, however, we didn't know when we'd be coming and going and didn't want to have to stay out of the house for hours (which is what this house requires for a deep clean. Like, hours with a team of pros to fix this spot up). So they were responsive, but not really providing real customer service. I will not stay at any other Vacasa property in the future after this terrible experience with their "customer service" team.
