  : The view, the furnishings, and the view. It was also nice to sit out on the lawn and watch the sunset. The bathroom downstairs is gorgeous and was very nice, after the toilet was unclogged by maintenance.
  : It was FREEZING in the duplex when I arrived and the heaters are so small, it took hours to get the rooms warm. The other real inconvenience was the lack of a stove. I must have missed that in the ad because I came prepared to cook and ended up having to go out for dinner. I would rent this again but the stove issue is a big problem. The toaster oven and microwave don't really fill the bill. If you took out the long room divider by the sink, there could be room next to the fridge cabinet for a little stove, just sayin.Couldn't get the blu-ray player to work either; I brought my own DVD's to watch but kept getting the message that the blu-ray player was not connected.

  : The location was unbeatable. We loved going to the beach whenever we wanted, we saw crabs, anemones, and a seal on the beach, and such beautiful sunsets. The house was nice, updated and very comfortable.

  : Duplex was good smelling. Bed comfy. Large shower. LOVE THE MYERS SOAP! Furniture in great shape. Dishes clean. Even though the beach access was steep it was well worth the climb.
  : TROUBLES WITH GETTING IN. WRONG PIN ON RESERVATION PAPERS. Went and called from neigbors land line (#3) and their given land line phone gave only garbled reception. Dangerous if in need of help.... NO CELL RECEPTION. This needs to be put in ad! When printed reservation it had no address just coordinates that were not the right place.... sends you just south of newport...not yachets.Duplex ok. Trash not taken out and fridge freezer in desperate need of defrost. Private access to beach is vauge in discription perhaps show from beach to yard? Bay windows (bedroom)need to be washed. Light above stairs out.Water pressure sucks if other side is using any.The wire shelf that holds the blender and misc items is too long (about 6 in or so) Not a big enough opening for adult hips. Could be fixed by cutting out pony wall or smaller shelf.

  : The ocean view was spectacular (thru tall trees, but that did not detract.) The beach is beautiful and quite secluded.
  : All is good until you have need to communicate with the host -- Vacasa depends on texts and phones for communication in area where there is no cell service. They should put a corded land line on the property (in the laundry?) to assist anyone who has trouble getting in or if the power goes out. There were no flashlights in our unit.

  : The duplex was clean, and check-in was easy. The view and surroundings are beautiful. It's a perfect place for a couples getaway. It looks just like the pictures but a different couch. There are stairs to the beach as others mentioned, but it wasn't bad at all. Most days we were the only ones there so it felt like we had our own private beach. It's extremely close to Cape Perpetua and Heceta Head lighthouse, and about 9 miles to Yachats for meals. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return.
  : The only thing I didn't like was the tiny refrigerator. I understand it's a small space, and I knew it was just a kitchenette but I think a small fridge could easily fit in there.

  : Had nice views of the ocean from living room and bedroom windows. Great wooded backyard with set ups with picnic tables and benches to admire the scenery and to watch sunrise and sunset. Also had a Stairways to walk down to the beach.
  : Parking was hard and tight. They could have extended the parking space more by leveling out the vegetation that they have. And also should reposition the parking space marker. That way depending on who comes first and if you have a neighbor. You don't get trapped in or run out of space to park because there was hardly any room to park without blocking the gravel driveway. You could tell that House keeping didn't do their job thoroughly. They could have aired the house out more, because it was stuffy and had that old house smell. That smelled like damp wet dog. Floors were sticky. You could tell by the stained pillow cases and blanket throw that it hasn't been washed. The sheets and bedding didnt didn't smell fresh and cleaned at all. Had a lot of accumulated of dust on lamps and light fixtures. Lots of stains and marks on upholstery of the bay window in the bedroom. Stains on couch also. They need to get a new coffee maker because it was leaking from under the machine. The microwave sometimes doesn't work. It made me feel nervous seeing that the house wasn't properly cleaned, especially during this pandemic it definitely made me more paranoid. Thank goodness we brought disinfect sprays and wipes.
