  : I was spoken to so rudely by the proprietor that my husband and I decided to cancel our stay (with no refund) and get a room at a local hotel instead. I was simply calling to tell him we would be arriving closer to 10 pm than originally expected (he had told me the day before that as long as we were there by 10 pm it was fine), and he berated me for not planning/scheduling our day better, didn’t care that circumstances out of our control were affecting our arrival time, that we had been boating on rough waters, etc. He spoke to me like I was a child being reprimanded, just horrible customer service. I will never recommend this B&B to anyone and just hope for his sake that this was a one time occurrence and that he doesn’t treat his other guests this way. I was appalled.
