Aspen and Evergreen Gallery in Estes Park is a unique, multidimensional art gallery that features several different artistic mediums for both local and international artists. Located in Estes Park, Colorado, the gallery has become one of the most popular art galleries in the area due to its diverse selection of work and its ability to embrace an array of styles. Visitors can find original works of art from various cultures and eras such as painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry and other objects d'art.
The gallery was established in 2008 by owner/curator Dona Pampel and her husband Gary Pampel who are both professional artists themselves. Since their establishment, Aspen and Evergreen Gallery has dedicated itself to showcasing emerging artists from around the world with a focus on providing accessible contemporary artwork for all audiences. They have hosted over 60 exhibitions featuring artwork from many different countries such as China, France, Italy, India and Peru. The exhibitions generally run for about two months at a time with opening receptions held each month accompanied by artist talks.
In addition to hosting exhibitions from established or emerging artists from all over the world, Aspen and Evergreen also offers an extensive online collection of contemporary artwork which is updated regularly. This catalog consists of paintings and sculptures created by local Colorado-based artists as well as pieces that come from further afar. The online collection provides an opportunity for viewers to gain access to artwork they would not be able to see otherwise due to geographic location. The online catalog also allows visitors to purchase artwork directly without having to visit the gallery in person.
Aspen & Evergreen's mission statement is "to provide exposure for exceptional fine art while educating our community." In doing so they offer private tours which allow people to learn more about the featured works of art in each exhibition within a more intimate setting than what’s offered during regular gallery hours. Additionally, Aspen & Evergreen donate 10% of their proceeds annually towards local charities including Forest Festivals International Scholarship Fund which aims at providing scholarships for students interested in continuing their education related to natural resource management or conservation science .
The combination of their powerful mission statement coupled with their vast assortment of artwork has made Aspen & Evergreen Gallery one of Estes Park's most beloved attractions since it opened in 2008. It continues to make an impact on not just locals but also people visiting Estes Park who want exposure to great pieces of art that they wouldn’t have had access too otherwise due solely based on geographic location alone.
