Beachfront Edisto Island Townhome with Screened Porch

  : Location was exceptional and was the main reason we chose this rental. The screened in porch was wonderful. It really had everything we needed and then some. Kitty, the property contact person was attentive and easy to reach. A minor problem was quickly addressed and corrected by David, a maintenance/cleaning technician. He was very friendly and made sure the problem was promptly corrected.
  : There were some ants on the countertop. Not a major problem for us. We kept food up and out of the way. Some parts of the townhome could have used some repair and updating, but again, this is an older structure and we were not expecting 5 star luxury. Overall, we really did like this townhome.

  : The beach is literally the back yard. That is the ONLY acceptable thing about this property.
  : This unit is a bottom unit; the floors are terribly warped, there were roaches and ants in the kitchen, the dining room/ living room smelled like cat urine, there's no central air, only window units (the one in my room went out and I roasted 24hours until we finally got ahold of a property manager) and over all it's just moldy, worn down and way way over priced. Also when I contacted evolve, the property owners, they didn't give a damn.

  : The beach.
  : The townhome has a severe structural problem. It made staying in the townhome uncomfortable. The floors are shining badly. This unit should not be rented! Doors were hard to close because of structural problems.

  : Best house on the island if you can appreciate a true southern beach house, instead of a mansion on the water. Perfect for family to come together unplug and get back to basics. My parents took me to the Ravissant for several years 30 years ago, and my kids enjoyed it just as much. A magical place!
  : The charm of the place outweighs anything negative worth mentioning.

  : The close proximity to the beach was great and a beautiful view
  : The house wasn't clean, we had no trash bags,only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 people, there was food left under the couch and under the beds was really nasty. I didn't like the fact that we had to make our own beds upon arrival, both screen doors were torn,we actually repaired one. The dining room floor was soaking wet when we arrived. It was a great location but way too expensive for the condition of the house. I wouldn't have minded paying half of what we paid .The rugs were covered in dog hair and didn't appear to have been vacuumed in a while.It could be a wonderful place with some upkeep and a good cleaning but sadly that wasn't the case when we were here. We were wanting to find a place we could return to every year for vacation. And no one ever returned my emails.

  : Directly on the beach. An amazing outdoor shower. Room enough for the entire group of us. And Kitty the owner was absolutely fantastic!
  : It's nothing that could change but it would have been nice if there's two bathrooms. Other than that it was perfect and we certainly were able to make do

  : Air conditioning not enough for this vacation home. Some folks were bitten by something. Refrig wasn’t cooling very well either.
