  : I liked the fact that the location was close to the activities we had planned.
  : The building was outdated, yet as clean as it could be for an outdated building. But it wasn’t disgusting and it was acceptable. The pool area needs work. Liner painted, and maybe some recreational items available.

  : The room smelled like carpet left wet. Shower did not work due to being stuck on tub filling. Slow draining tub. Switch on nightstand was dirty enough to be sticky.

  : The price was good. There were several amenities we didn't use but other travelers were enjoying - breakfast, pool... there was even a game room and sauna. The bed was fairly comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful.
  : I wish they had told us there is no maid service. We had an accessible room, but the halls and doorways were narrow and difficult for my hubs mobility scooter coming and going from the room. The a/c worked hard but struggled to keep up. Some of the towels had holes. The room itself needed a good scrub and paint.

  : The location was great! Easy to get around to the places I wanted to take my granddaughter.
  : The room was little disappointing for the price. It could use another mirror in the room so 2 people could get ready at the same time. The chair by the desk was discussing and needs replaced.The bathroom door needs attention it doesn't want to close all the way and the toilet doesn't flush well.

  : The fact that our stay was only 1 night so our suffering was at least brief
  : First of all, we requested early check-in after booking through booking.com. It sent a message to the hotel, and we received an email from booking.com saying the hotel responded and acknowledged the request. When we got there, the hotel owner claimed she never received any communication and seemed to imply we were making it up. She was unable to offer us anything before 3 PM. Their general attitude was very rude and unaccommodating. We asked if there was a safe place we could leave our bags until our room was ready while we go to the state fair, and she told us we could put them on the counter in the lobby where everyone has access, despite the fact that they have a perfectly good office and plenty of space behind the counter. When we finally got into our room, the air conditioning was off, and since it was already past 3 on a boiling hot day the room was extremely warm. The air conditioning unit wasn't very good either, so it took several hours to fully cool off the room. There was also visible mold inside the AC unit, which just made our stay that much more comfortable. The cherry on top is that ever since my stay a week ago, I've received at least 3 messages from the hotel in my inbox asking and reminding me to leave a review.
